I aint bragging about anything. It's just that some of the other retards who hang out in here want to challenge me about my success in life. And when that happens, I have to stand up for myself. You would do the same thing if you had to.

Some sleeper. I get people staring at my car, pointing at it across the intersection, honking, thumbs up. I've had people follow me for miles, park next to me, and ask if I minded telling them more about it. I've had kids, young men and women, old men and women, recognize it immediately as a Mustang and ask me questions about it.

It's not a sleeper. Neither is it a jelly-bean aero crapola wanna-be car.

It's a MUSTANG and most people "get it".

That said, I'm more than happy to fight fire with fire. If people here want to make fun of pre-05's, calling them 'junk' or 'value-less', then I'm more than happy to point out how unattractive I think the '05 is, along with every sad attempt at a body kit i've seen. And not to mention not a single '05 can touch the '03-'04 Snakes performance wise.

Welcome to the forums. Maybe you can help control the stang vs. stang violence. If you have read any of my previous posts, you would know that I'm not one to speak. However, I put a strong blaim on the death of the f-bodies. The Camaro/Firebirds have left the building and to an extent, it's not helping the Ford boys much. On top of that, the values are not only dropping...but sinking for 99-04 GTs.

It's like taking the aggrivating beta fish out of a tank full of fish and then stop feeding all but one fish. Surely enough, the unfed fish will attempt to strike the fish that's getting fed. Evolution.

See, that's where you're going wrong.....trying to apply "logic" to PerformanceRed. I gave up on that long ago. It's like trying to have a debate with your dog, he just sits there and wags his tail, thinks the house would smell much better if it had more dead stuff in it, and for all he knows, he's the richest phattest pimpinest dog in the 'hood. So give up on the logic. It's much more fun to mock him, and every now and then, toss a stick out and watch him fetch it. Real estate investment....... I can just visualize PerformanceRed reading through pages of legal documents, deed restrictions, surveys, due-diligence reports, soil tests, and liens. In his den wearing his Hugh Heffner signature robe and puffing a stogey.... I can also visualize Snoop Dogg discovering a cure for cancer.... It's all good fodder for amusing daydreams to break up the monotony of all our REAL jobs!!!!

my opinion on 05gt

I havent seen an 05 in person but it does look plain and boring in stock form.

I do think it will look baddass with 10 inches wide shoes on the front and back.

As weird as it sounds, I like the car in black but in that burgundy reddish color Its always popping up in it really looks shhhhhheeety.

The red is from a Mach 1 04 not from a Cobra 04. That dynograph has been around for aprox. 1 month.

It must really hurt not to have the new car on the block not to mention the value of the 99 to 04 mustangs have droped by at least 5k since the arrival of the 05's

mine hasnt really dropped being that people are dumb enough to pay 30+ K for a GT

Once the new gt's get into a realistic price range it will drop, but I am selling her once I get back in the US. Drive a beater for a bit and grab an 03-04 cobra

I think part of the appeal of the 2005 is its simplicity and clean lines with that retro look we all apparently like. If you want to look like a crack dealer, fine...add on all the scoops and crap. If not, stick with the stock body.

The 2005 Mustang GT definitely has some nice horsepower and torque output. I like that. I will be driving mine in Greece where all the Greece balls over there are driving 1 liter and 1.6 liter engine cars. I will be passing them on the high mountain cliff roads with my Mustang GT.

God forbid they sell a car without fake scoops all over the place like some rice car . IMHO the mustang has looked like some typical lame bubble car since the 94 came out,now it actually looks like a mustang,thats more aggression right there than some ugly fake scooped out bubble car. But hey everybody is entitled to there wrong opinion...
