to get the rotor off you have to remove the brake caliper and the bracket. the rotor might be really rusted on but a few taps with a hammer from the back should get them off.

they come right off. may take some force by hands or a rubber mallot should do the trick

the rotors should side off after you take off the caliber and the caliper bracket

If your not resuing them skip the rubber mallet all together and go for a regular hammer or a mini-sledge (that might be a bit excessive). Whack em good and hard they will come off.

Some times they rust on the hubs. I just hit them with a regular sludge inbetween the studs. That way you won't break the rotor, because I have done that before!! I put anti-seeze on the back side when I put them back together.

Use of penetrants like PB Blaster, etc. can help to. Just use a brake cleaner spray
before re-assembly.

Almost anything can be loosened over time with a good penetrant...

Too many CT's abound in this thread... Where's Tim or Daggar when you need them?

Soak them in some penetrating oil around the studs, give it an hour or so to eat away at the rust, go out, rotate them 180° and spray again. Give it a little bit to soak, and give them a smack. They should come right off at that point.

Sometimes you need to do a lot of beating off. I remember times before when I had to get drum brakes off that had been all rusted up. They were extremely tough, plus the pads were sticking against the drums.

Well, some people like to um, you know, concentrate on the rear while they are beating off.

Don't forget, some of these cars still have the retaining clip on 'em. Tom95gt, check and see if there's a little e-clip on one of the wheel studs. They should be easy to see if you still have 'em installed. Ford put 'em on there to keep the brake rotor in place on the assembly line, they're not necessary anymore. You can pop 'em off with a screwdriver.

Otherwise, you'll have to be gay like turbogt.....
