The summit cat back sucks. Those mufflers sell for 20 bucks, and do not perform very well. I friend from high school had 'em on his 89 notch. At idle, just like you said, they sound pretty solid. Upon higher throttle, they sound like chit.
Great h-pipe though. I'm leaning toward the mac myself.
