Man am I beat! I just spent 6 hours cleaning teh land yacht. I have been running it through the car wash so it was swirl marked really bad. Looked like crap
Now I dont have the cash to get the expensive chemicals. I have never tried them so mabey they are easier to use then what I do have but I really like Meguiers stuff Fairly cheap (Swirl=$12, Wax $15, Glaze $12) and I have used it for a couple decades with never any bad results.

This is what I use to restore the finnish. After washing and then clay bar I use these:

And as I said, I really like Meguiers

So here is the dirty beast:

And you can see how bad the swirling was

And this is after two runs with the swirl remover, Lake Country orange cut pad and the PC set at 3-4.

It was dark after I finnished so I have to wait till tomorrow to get some better pictures but here is what I ended up with

Yeah, my other one broke and i needed one in a pinch so had to go to Wally World. That was the only decient one they had
It works fine for a cheap jack so I havent bought another one. When it breaks I will get one of thoes rapid lift, low pro Craftsman jacks

Looks good Laser!

I use a mix and match of detailing stuff. After fresh paint and wetsanding, I use 3M's Perfect It II. Then I use Wizards Finish Cut to remove the swirls the 3M left. Then I go over it with Wizards Shine Master. In between washes, I use Meguiars Quick Detail FTW! That stuff always keeps the car dust free and shiney! Meguiars Yellow Tech Wax #26 is nice too. My Dad used that waaay back when and he still does. Now they have the NSX which everyone raves about.

Thanks everyone for the compliments! :grouphug:
I think you ment NXG not NSX I love the NXG, best stupp I have ever used and for Meguires its expensive ($22) but it leaves a shine like no other. I thought I had some but I was wrong. I tried the Gold Class and its nice but the NXG is better

I also wore out my orange cut/swirl pad My black finnishing pad is pretty ragged too. I bought a new foam wax/glaze pad but I neglected to notice its post isnt threaded so it dont fit the PC

But I will go get some better pics now

Thanks for all the compliments guys!

She is only my daily driver but I like the car. Its very fast, rides killer, very comfertable and 23 mpg
I put 2800+ miles a month on it and all I have had to fix were the brakes (old ones were Autozoners :notnice) and the power steering pump (again old one from AZ).
It has been a very reliable cruiser
And to think it was only $3200

Looks effin good.

I usually save my old pads for the edges of the fenders and good. That's where the get torn up, so I do those areas first, then put a good pad on and do the main areas.

Looks good man. Meguiar's Professional line of products are great, just don't like their commercial stuff you see in the local autozone or advanced auto.
