Andy,
I know what ya mean about it wearing you out, some reason it's always the legs.. hmm

If you want to get some clay local pick a Meguiars smooth surface kit, Has two bars, detailer/lube spray and a small bottle of cleaner wax.
Now if you want to step up try Auto Detailing Clay Bar, Clay Bar Lubricant, Overspray Clay, professional detailing clay, car care, car clay, remove bugs, detailing products, and look at the Wolfgang Brand. I Highly recommend Their Sealant

I picked up some of their Leather Cleaner/Conditioner spray over the weekend to apply to the Roush.

I like the wipes better. I have used both and they both work well

The wipes leave your fingers really greasy though

Looks ok I guess.

I really need to get a Porter Cable before spring so I can make my Fox shine.

Do yourself a favor, spend a little more and get a Flex instead of the PC.

The Flex is a killer buffer but what does the extra $150 buy you?
The Flex can go to 9600 rpm vs. the PC's 6000 rpm.
2500-3000 for cut/swirl
3000-4000 for glaze
4000-5000 for wax

Why do you need that much rpm? Sounds like its easier to burn the paint to me
What else does it have? Well it has a variable trigger instead of the speed dial and on/off switch. I prefer the switch
The handle on the Flex is at the 12 o clock position and I do like that better for the sides of the car but like the PC's grip better for the roof/trunk/hood.
The Flex dosent require the hook/loop backing plate but all the PC packages come with them anyway.
The PC is a proven professional piece. Its $199 with several pads (orange, yellow, white, black), a bag, backing plate and counter weight. The Flex is $279 and comes with a bag.
So IMO its not worth an extra $150. Then again I dont spend $50 on a bottle of wax eaither.
But to each his own. If I had plenty of cash and didnt care then I prolly woulda bought the Flex..... no I wouldnt. I know alot of people and shops with the PC and I went off their reccomendations. I dont know anyone with a Flex.

Hmmm....never heard of Flex.

I'm not sure I could justify spending any more than what the PC already costs though.

A.K.A.....the secretary of domestic affairs might not approve such a purchase.
