I sat in an 05 GT!!!

I went to the local Ford dealership because they are debuting the new 05. And I GOT TO SIT IN THE DRIVER'S SEAT!!! I have a couple of pics included. The interior is really nice, I love the guage cluster. It was so sweet, I didn't like them at first, but after seeing it in person, it grows on you. The only thing I don't like is how plain it is on the side and the hood. But hey, IT'S AN 05!!!

I agree, but that's true of most cars in stock configuration. The car is a little plain jane IMO, and needs just a little dressing to make it meaner looking.

that black GT, would look sick, with a nice cowl induction hood, and small flip up, not sticking way up just a little flap, spoiler I think, Lower it an inch and a quarter, give it a rim job (lol), and I think it would look purdy.

About the stance... as a regular customer I would be pissed if I scraped every speed bump I came across at regular speed. Also, if you notice, all stock cars seem to just fit over the curb when parking. So if you were to lower the car by an inch you would smack right into concrete if you tried to drive your car into a parking space and let your wheels hit the curb. I am sure this was a big consideration when deciding defualt ride height.

yeah man back in january i had a chance to go to the dearborn proving grounds and the guide let me get in a GT convertable. the guys was cool he threw me the keys let me rev it up, put the top up and down and jam the new stereo which is very impressive. it was sweet the car still had the camo stickers on the body and a set of black wheels.

He must mean the 2005... he said it still had the camo on it. I wonder if this guy has any pics. And if he can confirm if Ford is using the same top and rack system as the SN95 Stangs or did they improve this too.

I agree completely, a nice cowl hood, maybe 3 inches, some side scoops, different badges (I hate the new badges) and a nice spoiler, maybe one like they have on the 03/04 Cobra and that thing would look bada$$!! I can't wait until I start seeing them on the road with some mods. I hope the aftermarket catches up with them soon.

I've followed the vert too... for 50 miles.. without a camera d'oh. This was back in April.

But drove a manual and automatic 05 GT last month
