the E7TE casting on the block definitely identifies it as an 87 truck block and the E3 casting of the intake means it is an 83 model intake. the intake was definitely swapped over to the engine as all 87 engines were fuel injected except for marine and industrial engines and some heavy duty truck engines, and the 302 does not qualify as a heavy duty truck engine.
Although the casting number denotes it as a truck block, it could have just as well been built and installed as a car motor in any 87-up Ford, Lincoln or Mercury car, truck, van, etc. The casting numbers just tell you what vehicle line it was originally designed for, or rather what vehicle line the engineering costs were assigned to. There's no way to tell what actual vehicle it was installed in at the factory, it could have just as likely been installed in a boat too. I can tell you it is a roller block, but that's about it. Doesn't really matter anyway, it's a good block to build up for anything short of a full race, blown application.
