I noticed the other day when scoping out my Sportster there was some light gray color to my exhaust. I check the 'Stang and saw it there too. Both have had the carb tinkered with so I thought may be jetting. But then I noticed on several cars I was behind in traffic had the same indicators. I remember back in the days of leaded fuel you could get a good idea on you jetting just by looking at your exhaust pipes, medium to light gray was pretty close to being right. Then came unleaded which would give an orange-ish tinge to the pipes. Now it seems there was no more looking at the tail pipe to see where your at until what I previously mentioned.
Any thoughts?
