i have the eibach pro kit springs on my 99 cobra, but i wanna go lower..what are some good springs? thanks

H&R super sports

Be careful though...they're stiff a$$ springs and you'll feel every bump in the road! They do look nice though.

how do you people do it? my exhaust already scraped on speed bumps in certain cities, and i have basically non-drop springs

eibach sportlines...

My pro-kit is almost too low as it is. If I had sportlines my front bumper would drag.

Another vote for H&R SuperSports...

You learn to drive diagonally over dips and bumps... My K-member is all scraped up. But damn I look good!

You just have to learn to drive a lowered car and you cant go over speed bumps...well at least not in my old car.

oh yeah and for springs i would go either eibach sportlines...even though they have rear sagging issues or H&R supersports (would be my choice)

if you want the looks, and if its not daily driven, go with Sportline(18" are mandetory imo tho).
If u want best of both world, go with H&R SS

Both the "Sports" or the "Race" Springs will lower you pretty darn close to the Supersports. IMHO, these are just as good when it comes to the "stance". Your engine is probably heavier and thus the SuperSports would be way too low for you to drive the car. The over-all drop I would think would be the same as SuperSports.

You can also get them elsewhere for cheaper but these are your two choices. Go for the Sports unless you are pure track racing.

+1 Anything else is just really too low if you drive on anything else but highway and good streets.

how much lwer do you want to go? my GT has E-pros and im thinking of taking out the rubber spring isolaters and slipping some heater hose on the top part of the coil. that should get me down about 3/8-1/2 inch. Eibach pros are the tallest lowering spring. they are designed for performance mor than just a stiff ride and a drop.
BTW the hose prevents metal to metal contact. from what i hear it will clank loud over bumps and rattle on rough roads w/o a cussion there.

I had Sprint spings on my first stang and it was nice and low...it scraped on EVERYTHING....

I have Eibach Pros on my current one...its much better...of course there is more wheel gap...but that is the trade off.

Has anyone had Ford F springs? They are suppose to drop the car 1.5" all the way around and are like $200. Any experiences?

+1 for H&R super sports. lol my k member and midpipe are all scuffed and scraped to hell, but you learn to drive the car like every crack or pothole is a landmine.

and ignore all the people who say sportlines.....they've had a horrible sagging tendancy.

for those of you defending sportlines, im not saying they're all are bad, but some do end up sagging in the rear (like mine) and its really not worth it to have to buy springs twice.
