Get a portable handheld one?

You are not considering putting a cb radio antenna on the Mustang are you?

Tell me you're not putting on one of those fat cream colored antennas my dad used in the late 70's.
You surely don't want a whip antenna sticking out of a nice car, or do you???

Good luck with this project.

East bound and down, loaded up and truckin....

Back in the late 80's, we all had CB's in our cars. We would play CB tag in town for hours, ofcourse gas was .89 a gallon back then.

just hook it up to a cigarette lighter end, and plug it in as you need it...I just put it in between the passenger seat and the e brake....when I don't need it, i take it out of the car...no need to mount it permanently...
