I rather get a turbo kit instead of a SC. I saw the HP twin turbo kit $6300 way too much for me :damnit: so I want to find a good turbo kit for my GT for a good price . is that even possible? everyone in here has a SC , but does anyone have a turbo on their GT .

Yea there are a couple kits out there for a good price. The "good price" is just ~6 grand . I've only seen TTs fabbed for stangs, no singles so I don't know how to save you any money there. Price for TT=price for KB, I think I'd have to see more TT stangs out there for reliability before I dropped that kind of coin for a system.

I wanna do a turbo too so I've looked around and spent a lot of time on www.turbomustangs.com. i've found two kits and I'm keeping an eye on kit 1, kit 2

I haven't had much feed back though on actual kits that someone has used on here. The shop I go to though, they work with turbos a lot.

i looked at turbo, but since it runs on air, does turbo reduce the mustang's sound by any chance? i'd hate to lose my muscle car sound

i checked out both the kits you like. Trust me you will be better of with the twin turbo which "Newbie143" suggested. It costs around the same as your second kit.

Yep, twins give quicker spool up....that single will have more lag and then will just come on like a million raped apes and probably start roasting the tires LOL. Not that bad, but the quick pour on of power will be more noticable than the twins, and at a later RPM. Not to mention you will have single exhaust until your CB then it will split into 2 so it will bolt up...and your car will sound like crap.Twins will keep the sound better, and on top of that they are deviding the heat between the 2 turbines and you will not have to run a turbo timer with them.

There's not cheap way around turbos. But if you can look passed the initial sticker shock, it will cost you about the same in many instances to get that type of power or performance from a supercharger. That and you get BIG torque from turbos.
