what are you talking about? i like my pony wheels. but if you know some where i can get those wheels in a 17' size, please share :)

What I was getting at was that I would rather have the chrome Crobra R's I was talking about than the turbine wheels that came stock on my car. I'll get them one day lol

ok cool, sorry if my comment sounded negative, i had a brain fart there and forgot what turbine wheels were  and you should go for the pony rims, they are cheap and look great

and 5.0 Nostalgia, another great post bro :nice: i was also around during the same times you speak of, good times, but i also prefer a cleaner look. i could have gotten a GT, but to me it was just extra dough for looks that i didnt need. and again i will say it, i love my LX look, but saleen's are just jaw droping. i have thought about a conversion kit many a time, but in the end i just keep thinking it wouldnt be right to the guys that actually got the real article, like i would be a poser. ive stuck with the stock looks for just about 13 years now, i guess i should keep it that way.

When I said in my post that Saleens were pure rice, I was trying to say that they were basically all looks. I really didn't mean to offend anyone that likes or owns those cars. I was just saying that for people to say that cowl hoods, different spoilers and aftermarket wheels were ricey, take a look at one of our own. Those were purely look enhancig mods for the production Saleens thats all. If Steve Saleen thought changing body panels looked cool, why can't the average Mustang owner.

That being said, yes you can go too far with body mods. Some look good, while some look stupid. Like you guys said, it's a matter of taste.
