I Want To Be Like Groverdill. Give Me Your Thoughts

look what followed me home today
looks like it does have 67k original miles
I have the receipt from when the AOD was rebuilt in 2015 and it had 51k miles
The prior owner took care of it and kept it clean and detailed the engine
not a rip in the seats and they look new
same for the carpet
T Tops dont leak- at least not during the rain on the way home- new seals and weatherstrip= he also gave me the bags
New Weld wheels and fairly new BFG's 225/60/15 all around
new flowmaster cat back
the prior owner even welded a set of subframe connectors on it for me for free and did the entire rear brakes with new shoes, lines, wheel cylinders
only thing I am scratching my head in is the temp gauge not working, groiundout out the wire so the gaauge is working. swapped out another sending unit and the gauge
still doesnt work. Maybe the one I had laying around doesn't work.
That and the tach sticks sometimes and bottoms at 1000
Someome plugged off the cannister line
The smog pump is bypassed- I have an extra

Nice buy Mike, So, what's on the agenda?

As hard as it is for me to believe- Nothing
I promised myself I am keeping this one bone stock
I forgot how much fun and enjoyable it is to drive a stock fox body that idles in traffic, and I'm not concerned about driving it
Plus, I really think for the first time in 30 years of owning these that now prices on stock, unmolested fox bodies are going through the roof. Never thought of these cars as an investment but my mind has changed.

I've got a nice set of slightly molested ten holes if you really want it original.:D

I vote ten holes . The welds give the look of modded and fast while the ten holes will return the car to stock glory if that's truly the plan. Good buy, only adds to my regret of not getting Joes t-top but I need a 5+ passenger hot rod for my family so I'm on the hunt for an early sixties Galaxie.

Wow, what a score. I thought I did well with my new wheels today, but this takes the cake. That is one of the nicest foxes I have seen in a while. I love the draglites with that color combo. So jealous right now. Man that engine bay is just straight oem pronz...:drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool::drool:
