If you have a coupe, you basically have to cut the red wire off the switch, cap it, then cut the purple wire off the vert harness and splice it to the red wire on the switch.

exactly. check out that link about. it's very simple to do--hard to work w/ such little slack in the wiring, but very do-able.

Mine were useless with some silverstars, but OEM bulbs are actually visible on the road.

So if you have a vert im assuming instead of cutting the purple wire you just splice into it?

You guys are lucky - my fogs are totally useless. I even wonder if their vacuousness sucks away light from the headlights.

No. In factory form, you have to turn your headlights on AND flip the fog light switch. They don't just come on if you turn the headlights on.

The modification mentioned above allows you to turn the fogs on with OR without the headlights on.

In stock form, normally the fogs cannot be on unless the headlights are on too (because some locales dont allow fogs to be on w/o headlights). So the headlights have to be on, and the fog light switch has to be turned on.

It's all cool man. I looked back and realized you were probably posting at about the same time .... except with dial up, lol. You added a little extra anyway ... as always.

I was going to do this a while ago but it slipped from my mind. I just went outside and did it in about 15 minutes. It really is very very simple. On my car it was the purple wire with the orange stripe that was the 12 volt lead on the convertible switch block.

So I wired that to the Red wire going into the Foglight switch, And still nothing.... Do i hook it up to the yellow wire to the switch?? Im soo confused..
