I agree that on the lighter colored stangs the vinyl inserts look sharp!SR 97 GT said:I like the inserts especially on the lighter colored cars. I have reflective black inserts on my black GT. I've seen metallic silver and chrome inserts on black Mustangs and they look good. I'm not sure how white inserts would look. Probably not my style.
ChingoChee said:Yeah, bumper inserts rule. I have gold inserts on my forest green vert, looks nice with the tan top. On a black car, id go for the silver/chrome. Mustangworld has a nice selection and they don't cost much.

I have white ones on mine and they lasted for 4-1/2 years without any peeling or anything, until I got rearended and had to have the bumper replaced. I put them back on. Installing my stick ons were not difficult. I just kept everything real wet until I was satisfied with their placement.
But on black, go with the chrome inserts!
Xanax said:The plus about SS inserts is that they will not crack, fade,or peal because they are simply not a sticker that is something you, should think about before purchasing any inserts!
That's good GDawgGDawg said:Just a note here... The inserts I have are not stickers so to speak. They are a 3M type of embossed decal product that once dried is more like paint. They were very good quality.
I got my second set from Graphic Express.
