I Wonder If Anyone Can Help Me With A Wiring Question?

Hello all, I'm Nate, the proud owner of a 1993 Thunderbird V8. I recently changed out my EGR valve position sensor connector and I'm not sure I put the right wires back in the right position. Since we share the same engine, I'm wondering if any Guru's here and help me out???


The picture below is the wires I have to figure out. The black and white I think should actually be brown and white. I have a full service manual, but it doesn't go into the EGR wire colors



I'm wondering which one goes into positions 1, 2 & 3

I think;
grey and red goes to #1
brown and green #2
brown and white (black & white in photo) #3

Any help would be AWESOME!!! Feel free to IM me.

thanks... I think that's it. There's a connector on Ebay from a Stang... appears to be the same as what I had in mind.
