Somebody please tell what the iacv does and where its located.I'm thinking its located at the front of the throttle body and is plugged in...can somebody please school me on this?

when the butterfly is closed (idle, etc), very little air can go around the butterfly, so the ISC allows air to bypass the butterfly. it has a pintle that oscillates to allow air to pass. the puter regulates how fast it works (how much air is passed). things like load (cold start, A/C, P/S, etc) will increase the idle speed to compensate for the extra burden.

And yes, it is the cylinder looking thing with the plug at the end on the side of the TB. That picture in the link posted above is not very good at showing it's location.
