I have a friend that needs help. What wires do you use in the MAF harness if you are relocating your IAT sensor? He used the two out side wires but he is getting CEL. Dose polarity matter? The car is a 2003 GT. Thanks for the help!

I dont think polarity matters but he could try swaping them around.
are you sure he cut the correct wires?

Wires one and six, the wires on the outside edges. And if I remember correctly, polarity does matter...however I don't remember which direction is which hah.

Swap em if your still getting a CEL. He mounted it AFTER the blower correct? In the discharge? You sure the connections are good?

shouldn't have to cut any wires at all... mine just removed the gray and redish wire (I think) and the clipped right on the IAT, sealed with silicone.

We fix the problem. The polarity dose not matter. We did mount it after the superchager. The CEL turned out to be when he reconected the discharge tube it popped back out of the rubber sleave. It was venting metered air into the air, causing the motor to run really rich causing CEL on the O2 sensors. What a jack ass! Thanks for all the help!
