Icy-Hot blue headlamp bulbs from APC any good?

I was interested in purchasing a set of those icy-hot blue bulbs to give off that projector type look on my foxbodies headlamps. Does anyone else here have them and are they any good?

By any good, I mean, do they give off the same effect as the H.I.D's on BMW's and will I see well at night? Or are they too dim and they burn out too easily???????????

IME all tinted bulbs are junk. The tint affects how the bulb opperates, maybe by not letting it cool as well? But the bulbs for me did not last very long. I had 3 sets from ebay. Good thing they didn't cost much but I learned my lesson. i got silverstars and they have outlasted the tinited ones by far....
