Icy-Hot blue headlamp bulbs from APC any good?

I was interested in purchasing a set of those icy-hot blue bulbs to give off that projector type look on my foxbodies headlamps. Does anyone else here have them and are they any good?

By any good, I mean, do they give off the same effect as the H.I.D's on BMW's and will I see well at night? Or are they too dim and they burn out too easily???????????
