I was wondering if anyone could Id my block for me I got the code off of it this weekend and would like to know the year I believe its a 289 and It has mexican stamped in the lifter valley so think it may be a hipo block here are the id numbers. DIZM 6015 AA and a small tag has 14F2
maybe it is I am not sure I know the heads are 65 289 with screw in studs but this very well could be a 302 I have been told the mexico stamp in the lifter valley means it's made of better steel but also heard it means nothing more than it was from san jose plant. thanks for responding and I will chekc out the web site
