This is the plaque on my intake manifold. Anyone know where it comes from? It sure as hell ain't from a 93 Cobra...

And I already know I don't have a Cobra Intake...

Very common accessory piece that has been around for years. I don't know if it's aftermarket or perhaps from Canada.

I kinda like the Explorer one.

I really hate when i pop the hood and people see my (real) Cobra intake and say "Wow, it's got a Cobra engine in it"

could be home made, but also could be aftermarket from late 80's early 90's

You guys are funny....its not a "Canadian Cobra" plate. Its part of a dress up packaged that Ford SVO (before FRPP) used to put out for the Mustang GT. They were very common in the early '90's and often came with matching valve covers.

The Cobra moniker on the Canadian built Mustang GT's from '82-'92 were based around nothing more than esthetics. The cars were essentially identical to the Mustang GT's sold in the US, save for a little red sticker that said "Cobra" on the rear deck lid.

That intake plaque is from Ford Racing. It is available through CJ Pony, under part #M9434A52. It sells for $19.95.

We have a winner!
Thanks! At least I know it's made by Ford. Still, though, I think I'll be putting a stock one on.
