Kevin, I should note that I have not seen a stock fox MAF. I got a spare SN95 MAF for the '94 and the stock SN unit looks like that pic. I have no clue what the differences from a stock fox III to a stock fox IV MAF are though.

I am usually thinking Fox body and you keep SN on the mind. Between the both of us, I think we got it covered.

As you can see the post below yours to see a fox MAF.

I'm not too sure what you mean by a fox III and IV though.

The MAF picture looks the same as the 93 Cobra. That is why I mentioned it.

Tell me his is right?

the first pic is a stock 93 cobra...they use the post in the midddle?

but the second pic w/the 55m is a 93 gt maf...that im sure of.
and theres no bar thru the middle.

all the sn95 cars use the same 70mm maf...CAN ANY ONE SHOW ME A STOCK SN95 70MM?

I hear ya Kevin. And you always catch the things I miss.

Fox III = our foxes (to '93).
Fox IV = '94+ (until New Edges, I think. Not sure how far up it goes since I just use it to differentiate 'foxes' and SN95's sometimes).

Kevin and Danny, I am as confused as anyone now. The '94 did not come with a stock MAF so I got one used to have around. But it looks like Danny's first pic, with the big bar down the middle. I guess I need to do some more lookin and deciphering to figure it out. So the bar is for a Cobra MAF?


Danny, of course I just realized that I dont think I saw the 4 bolt flange on the end of the MAF you pictured (not that someone couldnt have cut it off).......
I am confused now.

IM confused also...
I think my "stock" maf is some type of aftermarket housing also....so i cant tell...im going to post a pic of mine as well tomorrow..
the 55mm is stock 93-88
70mm is stock 94/95 gt/cobra they use the same one...


the one w/the bar may be a cobra 93-88 It actually came from a kit,i was told,the jeggs kit,where they sell the xez cobra computer 93,24lb inj,and maf.
But the source is not trustworthy.

Danny, I dont know. FWIW, the one I have has the bar but also has the 4 bolt SN95 flange.

when you say 4 bolt flange,r u meaning the mounting bracket on the bottom?

or the 4 bolt electronic hole?cause they all have the same electronic hole for the maf electroinc black plug.

do the fox have a 3 bolt mounting bracket? and sn95 have a 4 bolt?
im going to take a pic of mine right now! Im almost positive im getting detonation because the maf isnt stock...

one side is round (out)and the other side has a flange with 4bolts to connect it to the air filter housing (in)

Sorry guys. Yes the one in the picture comes factory in a 93 Cobra. It is also the one you buy with the "Cobra" kit that comes with the 24 lb. injectors and Cobra computer. Like to one you mentioned from Jegs.

After just looking at mine 95....it is also the exact same way as the first pic i posted...the bar in the middle and the 4 bolts like you said.

how do u tell the difference between the fox and 95 maf electronics? are they the same? i think i heard the plugs are different shaped,but they would work 19 for 19 inj size no probs if you wire them .

unless we both have 93 maf housings???(hissin) cause the notch i just bought had the maf in the first pic like i said.

this is my 95..looks exactly like the 1st one i posted..its upside down in the pic..thats not the design.

the first one dont have the 4 bolt holes,like mine and hissins.

so they used the same 70mm in the 93 cobra as they do in the 94/95 cobra/gt but 93 dont have the 4 bolt holes.

the 55 mm is for 93 and under fox....but why no pole in the middle?



this is my electronics...i know there are different numbers for electronics...does anyone know tis electronic?
