Idle problem after exhaust install

Hi Guys

I installed a ProChamber and a Bassani Catback this weekend on my 2000 GT

I am having a rough idle now.

The car seems to idle around 1100 rpms now, compared to about 750rpm before. Not only that, but also the rpms shoot up to about 1500-2000 rpms when I push the clutch pedal and then sloooowly start dropping until they get back to around 1100.

What could cause this? I already disconnected the battery overnight but no luck. Could a leak in the exhaust system cause this? How do you check for leaks on the exhaust? (I'm not sure how a leak would sound like)
I did put in the MIL eliminators, and have not gotten any "check engine light".

Any thoughts?

Thanks

Either of the above 2 posts could be correct. Be sure to check around your stock headers to make sure there isn't any leaks. If there aren't, just be patient and it'll get used to it.
