Hey guys I got a 90mm motoblue idler kit and the D@#$ belt wont go back on. Well really the belt tensioner won't line back up with the bolt holes. I'm running a 12psi pulley on the blower and the stock lower pulley. Do I need a new belt and if so do you all know what size. Maybe I'm just being retarted. I appreciate the help.

Hmmm.... 90MM is the same diameter as the stock idler? Check out the belt charts listed on Cobra Bob's web site and see if this helps.

Hey Meat its the Aux Idler kit that sits right by the blower pulley. The belts on the charts are smaller than the factory 75.1" belt. I think I need a bigger belt. My blower pulley is a 3.00 and the chart says I need a 74.5" belt, I'm confused, maybe that chart is not for the aux idler kits.

Hmmm the chart states for a 3.00 upper and a stock lower, couple with a 100MM idler results in either a 74 or 74.5. Since you are using a 90MM idler, which is the same size as stock the charts still recommends 74.5" belt. What size are you trying to put on there now?

In your initial post you said the belt tensioner didn't line up... is this still a problem? Sure seems like the 74.5" belt should fit IF the tensioner and idler are installed correctly.

I'm trying to use the stock belt which I thought should be big enough. Maybe I just need to get a breaker bar and pry the hell out of the tensioner. The 3 bolt holes won't line up due to the extra wrap on the belt with the idler. I'll try to pry the sucker up but I was afraid of putting too much stress on the blower pulley bearings.
