idles rough

ok its done it before, but my car especially after running it hard, but when i park it and cut it off for a while, ill start it back up and it idles like crap and does not run good at all like its running on 6cylinders, but after 1/2 mile or so it smoothes out. but it only does every now and a again

Did you check your air/fuel ratio? Do you have a chip or a tune or anything?

no its stock except for the mods listed below, but no tune. however it sounded like it was running on 4cyls. i wiggled the pass plug on the coil pack and now it runs normal. so i have no clue on what caused this, unless the there was corrosion ib the pig tail.
