Idling Problems

My car is idling really badly, sometimes almost stalling out when I'm coming to a stop and put the car in neutral (manual transmission). I replaced the IAC within the past 6 months due to similar, but much worse issues. Is there anything else I can do to get better idling performance, such as something with the computer or anything else? Thanks.

Check for vacuum leaks... that's most likely it.

+1.

Things to check include the usual vacuum lines but also check the duct running from the MAF to the throttle body for cracks down in the corrugations.

Also check the PCV valve. If it's stuck or not sealing well it can constitute a vacuum leak too.

If no obvious external vacuum leak can be found, you might want to remove the EGR valve and check for carbon build-up that might be causing the valve to stick in the open position.
