If i swap to 31 spline axles do i need a diff drive shaft?

i bought a new Eaton, axles and 3.73gears and all the other stuff to get the job done. i was getting ready to have it installed but then somebody told me that i needed to buy a new drive shaft set up for 31 spline axles.
the cal already has a alum shaft so i don't whant to do it twice.
the car is a 88 mustang GT hatch.

Driveshaft has nothing to do with the axles. Dunno why someone told you that.

How many spline is the Eaton diff? If it's 31 spline, then you need 31 spline axles. If it's 28 spline, then you need 28 spline axles.

everything is set up for 31. looks like it should be good then

probably the same guy that told a girl i know she didn't have spark plugs cause her car is fuel injected.

Your drive shaft will be fine.

install it yourself, its easy, way easier than a gear swap.

Your all set with the drive shaft you already have. Go for it.

someone told me today to "be careful changing the spark plugs on your expedition, theyre aluminum spark plugs"

thats a new one...

only thing id worry about with them is blowing the plug out in the pre 03 motors.
