If im doing 55, what will my speedo read approximately??

I have never changed my speedo drive gear and was wondering what my speedo should roughly read at 55 mph. I went from the stock 3.00 to 3.55's. I think i have been told in the past that i need a 20 drive gear right?

any help is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks. That confirms the 20 tooth gear but does anyone know the approximate speed my speedometer will read if I'm truly doing 55??? That is what I really need to know.

Assuming your speedometer was accurate with the 3.00s it will now read 65 when you are going 55. 3.55/3.0*55= 65

That is until you change to the 20 tooth gear. Then use the calcuators in the above links to confirm.
