So, after my stock exhaust getting a leak in the cat-back, I figure perfect time to put in a Magnaflow setup. On Thursday, the exhaust system and the Dynomax stainless band clamps show up. So yesterday I put in the exhaust.

Typical exhaust install, sucky work to do, but the best tools were a sawsall and an angle grinder. Also noticed that the diff cover had some caked oil on the bottom.

Get the exhaust system finished and the passenger side came out perfect, while the drivers side has the pipe close to the swaybar and the exhaust tip is a bit loose on that side (and clamped as tight as it will go).

So now, I have more fiddling to do on the exhaust and do a fluid change and new gasket on the rear end.

Stupid cars. . .

Exh. work is the suckiest. Esp. stock exh.

I had my O/R H off in under 5min. I got the stock H halfway under the car and went back inside. It sat like that for almost 2 months .

At least you got to put new stuff on that might actually make you more power. I got put clog my exh. up and loose power.

Why are you putting the stock H back in?

Inspection sticker?

Yeah, I am going to try and get my insp. in Sep. My plates expired back in May...04. If I dont pass or dont get around to it in Sep. I am going to wait until next Sep. as our law in Mo is changing so that 95 and older is smog exempt.

It sucks...kinda, part of me is alittle glad as it stinks with the O/R H on there and the stocker seals better than the hunk of junk Mac one.

Do you like the magnaflow catback on the 5.0? Buddy of mine has one on his 96 cobra and its preatty nice.

I wouldnt minde re-doing my exh. in a couple years and go with LT, catted mid pipe and prob. a magnaflow or another flowmaster american thunder.

I like the Magnaflow catback. It has a pretty mellow sound (didn't want to get on it with the leaking diff) and it is a pretty well thought out kit. There are some tight fits around things on the driver's side. I'm not sure that any other brand is any better and it is an all stainless steel catback
