Well, i have found that i had a rod bearing go out and my crank is pretty much ruined...

time for a new engine...

WHAT combo would you go with, i am pretty sure i want to keep my heads so it'd have to be a 302, 306 or 308 ish. what pistons, rods, crank ect would you go with?

WHO is a reputable engine builder that i could have do it so i know i am getting a quality engine? i dont just want want engine part tossed together to just have an engine, i want it to be done right.

WHERE is this shop in comparison to ohio?

i'd like to keep it at about $2500-3000 or less if it can be done...

I hear Fox Lake near Cleveland is pretty good, but they're a little pricey. I'll see if I can find their website for ya.

Edit, here ya go http://foxlakeracing.com/

No one seems to beat their pricing. http://www.newengineparts.com KEN is the person to talk to and tell him the guy that just bought the 306 from him sent you. They have been around for 20 years, and really know their stuff.

If I were going to get one built by one of the mail order companies, it would be CHP without a doubt. If I were to want a high-end piece, it would be built by Tony Barker in Massachusetts.

www.propowerperf.com...This is where Ronnie Crawford works out of. To have Crawford do the work prepare to pay but the other engine builers will do a good job as well.
