Between the Camaro and the Challenger I would pick the Camaro. I think that the Challenger is a prettier car but when I drove it it felt so sloppy fat that I could not live with it.

Between the two, a Challenger. If I had money to buy either one, chances are I have money to mod.

I'd throw the Challenger on a diet and get to work on the engine/suspension.

The new Camaro is killer, don't get me wrong. But I feel Chrysler NAILED the styling on the Challenger and made a SICK cruiser/potent muscle car.

The challenger sucks, I've driven the 6 speed and hammered it. I wrote a review on it a while back, here ya go. I wouldn't buy a new camaro either, another pig and overpriced. And I probably wouldn't buy a new GT either.

The best cars for the performance they offer are out there, 03-04 cobra, Mach One, C5's , ls1 fbody, 4v cobras. All can be had for a lot less and modded to out perform these cars for much less.

If you want a new car with nice performance, you probably need to look at the 370z, or a bmw. These new GM/Chrysler cars are big, feel big, and just don't feel the same as driving an SN95.

I wouldnt buy either one, because they are both built like s**t, overpriced, underperforming cars. The Challenger is built to pretty much look good and go pretty good in a straight line. Try and take some corners with the thing and the car falls flat on its face. The Camaro handles a LOT better, and I think looks a little better as well, so thats where my vote went. I just dont understand why these s**thead companies buit both these cars on sedan chassis? The Challenger is a two door Charger/300, and the Camaro is a two door G8. Plus the fact that these car companies are going to be owned and run by the federal goverment makes me not want to touch ANY of their products. Just my .02 cents.

All three are way overpriced (Mustang, Camaro, and Challenger).

If I had to, I would but the Camaro SS. It performs better and it looks good. The Challenger is huge and is ugly.

Also consider the Pontiac G8 GT or GXP. Good performance and a 4-door if you needed the extra room (family sedan with a little performance).

My 04Gt is my commuter and by the time I'm ready to get another car, many years from now, I'm sure my thoughts and opinions will have changed by then.

Now if I were to sell off my notch, I'd throw a few motorcycles in its place.

I sold my 2003 GT and got a G35 AWD and haven't looked back. I love hopping in the car in the AM, flipping on my seat-heater, setting the HVAC to 78 degrees, rocking my Bose 6-disk as i program the Nav and head to work. Oh and it ran 14.7 bone stock with a full tank of gas and loaded trunk and drives awesome in the snow!


If you can't tell, i don't miss the GT!


But i can't get away from Mustangs. I have my 5.0, and if i ever got rid of it i'd prob pick up an Azure Blue mach 1. I'll always own a Mustang

This poll doesn't make sense. The new Challenger and Camaro aren't competitors for our SN95 and New Edge Mustangs. They are much larger, much heavier, and much more expensive than our cars. If I "were to sell my 4.6 GT", it would only be to purchase a Terminator. Otherwise, I'm in the "Never Sell It" club, because there is no compelling reason for me to sell my car. It's a ton of fun to drive, it gets me where I need to go, and it is reasonably practical for a 22-year-old single guy.

If I ever get tired of my car or my automotive needs change, I will just buy an additional vehicle. I don't think it would ever make sense financially to sell my car.

Larger and Heavier yes. While the Challenger is more expensive, the Camaro is not much more expensive. GT's are going for 32-34k, that is about the same for the SS unless of course you get the full package SS which some of the options are pretty rediculous. (wheel packages over 3,000).

Neither here too. But I'm not going to make up ricer BS about build quality. The new Camaro and Challenger are too big. I don't want a two door SUV-sized sports car.

I'd pick a Solstice GXP coupe over the rest. A 2010 Mustang GT would be tempting, but I'm already on my 3rd Mustang. I don't want to drive the same car the rest of my life. It would be nice if some other maker tried their hand at a solid RWD V8 sport coupe that weighed less than 2 tons and only required a single parking space and had a reasonable price tag.
