I have replaced my alternator and my battery. Along with the ignition coil. A stock 73' runs at 24,000 Volts on the coil. I had the bright idea of putting a Periotronix 45,000 Volt coil on. The car runs fine, but when i turn the headlights on, the engine dies out. Is this due to the Ignition coil? Please get back to me ASAP!

you might have toasted a 30yr old wire when you moved the stock coil. I have done that several times. the wirign loom with the inigition circuit usually has the headlights with it. You might want to make sure the wiring is correct on the coil, but i honestly don;t think that would kill the car.
