Hey guys got a question. I am having problems with my stang. I'll be driving it and out of no where it cuts off. Still have power but the engine shuts off. As if fuel is no longer being delivered to the engine. I turn the car off and try and turn it on. I hear the fuel pump turn on but all I hear is the starter turning but it will not turn over. I can wait about an hour maybe 2 and then she'll turn over and I can driver her again, normally just long enough to get my a$$ home. So after talking to a few people they think I need to replace the Ignition control module. So I figured ok no prob. I go to Pep boys pick up the piece and install. Here comes the next problem. The ICM is on the distributor and I can't unscrew the second screw holding the ICM to the distributor. Can I Loosen the bolt on the block that holds down the Distributor and turn the distributor to the left so I can unscrew that last bolt and then move it back into place after reinstalling the new ICM is it that easy or is it more complicated? Thanks for the advice.
