90 Gt, had the ignition replaced under the recall right after I bought the car in 97. Lately, certain things like the signals, vert top motor, and heating/AC blower won't work unless I get the ignition switch in just the right position. I have to move it around every time I start the car, but once in position, it usually stays there. Does this sound like just the lock cylinder, and if so, what is required to replace it?

There is a FREE recall on Ford ignition switches. They overheat and sometimes catch fire.

Copy down you VIN number and call the Ford dealer nearest you. Tell them you want to see if the ignition switch recall for Fords & Mustangs was done on your car. They will ask for the VIN number & check it against the master database. If it isn't in the datbase, then you can schedule an appointment to have the switch replaced for free. The TSB is #95S28, and don't let them tell you that they don't do that anymore...

Bringing this thread back from beyond...!

Think they still might do this today?

I doubt it. Do a search with the term Saleen0679 and see if you can find the link he posted for replacing the ignition switch. It is very good, pictures and everything.
