Hello I need some help with my ignition I am not getting any power out of my Ignition coil. I have a 65 ford mustang with a 289 V8 with a 4 barrel carb. I have recently purchase painless wiring 22 circuit harness. The problem I am running into is that I am getting power to the coil but nothing is coming out. I got an Accel 8140 ignition coil to replace the old one thinking the coil went bad but still have the same problem. So I was wondering if the coil is good compatible with the Mustang? Also if the coil has a built in resistor or do I need a ballast resistor? Please any input would be greatly appreciate it.
