Hey guys, im new to the forum.. and need some help on a problem i have with the new stang'

Its a '95 with a 3.8L in it (auto), and the guy i got it from recently had the whole top-end done, head gaskets, flow matched fuel injectors.. you name it. Well, as far as i know.. it has compression, its got fuel, and it has plenty of spark.. Yet it is not firing at all; The guy told me the only thing that he did NOT have the shop do was the installation of the crank shaft positioning sensor, which he did himself... Im trying to figure what the prob could be, if i can get some tips i would appreciate it.

... just wish these things had OBD-II so i can plug my reader in her :P

Thanks alot guys,

John

Hey guys.

I have found the problem heh'

I decided to tear the spark plugs out, and check for compression... well, when about a quart of water starts pooring out of the spark plug hole, i think theres a problem!

The head gaskets were brand new, so i took the heads up to a buddy at autozone. He checked them with a strait edge and a gauge, and they were warped beyond belief. So i went on ebay, and found myself a pair of refurbed heads for $80 shipped. Also bought a coreteco gasket kit, so im hoping this shall get her on the road.

One other thing is, i noticed the oil pressure sensor has no line going to it, and when i ripped the top end apart i didnt notice one connected to it because i would have remembered disconnecting it. What or where should i look for the wire?

Thanks!

Well, this dog is officially alive. Got my heads in, and re assembled the top end.. fired her up, went down and reged n' insured it, drove all around today.. not any problems! "knock on wood";

I will upload pics soon.
