The problem i'm having is around 4K rpms and up the car will not pull at all. So my friend suggested a fuel problem, but I thought ignition problem. So I change the pill back to a 125 and made a couple of runs on the way home and it still does it. I have been running a 125 and it was fine, now this ****.

I replaced the cap, rotor and plug wires about a year ago. The plugs are 2 deg colder and gapped about 32 and the timing is 10 deg. I had a 100 oct in the tank also and this is a dry kit btw.

Any suggestions that may help? I do have a msd 6al I need to hook up here this week. I hoping that will fix it.

Thanks for any help.

you are brave - if i had a slight inkling that i was fuel starved, i would not be running the gas.

it sounds like it could be TFI on the way out or a lack of FP. do you have a FP gauge? i would start on the fuel side because it is easier to diagnose (read the pressure, etc).

good luck.

I have a 190 intank and 24lb injectors. I'm sure the fuel side is fine. I have a afpr on it and it's set at 38or 39. Like I said, this crap just started today. As soon as I felt it I let out.

i would be testing the TFI then. do the symptoms get better when the motor has cooled off (TFI's like to get funky when they are hot)?

my two cents. good luck.
