hey,
I happen to have a question about why my 66 mustang won't start.
I have replaced the spark plugs and the coil. I also replaced the Ignition wires. My car will turn over, but will not start. There is no spark coming out from the Coil, but the Coil is brand new. I think it might be something electrical, but I'm unsure. If anyone happens to know anything, or know what I might need to look at, please reply.

Thanks,
Steve

SOunds like your new at this. Get yourself a "test light". You don't want a powered one, just a standard non powered test light you can get at any automotive store.

Do a couple of tests for us and we will fix you right up.

Turn on the key; ground the test light clip and touch the point to "+" coil terminal. It should light the test light. IF it doesn't, tap the starter and check it again.

Put the test probe on the "-" coil terminal and have someone crank the engine over, the test light should flash.

Let us know how you make out.
