As far as the tech being old, nothing on my car is worthy of a new tech magazine.... The SCT is the only thing that is amazing, but even that is integrated with the antiquated A9L.

I agree, I'm sick of every one trashing tried and true parts because they're "old technology". Heck, the vaunted 5.0L engine is very old technology. The first 302 debuted in mustangs back in '68, and the mass air 5.0L engine in the form that we all love is almost 20 years old. Ironicly, for as hung up as we are on the old tech 5.0 we're starry eyed at all of the new stuff that might not even be good (the BBK SSI intake for example) and looking down on known good performers like the GT40 intake. I think we're getting to be like the old muscle car guys who said "If it's not a Cobra Jet it's crap", or "If it's not a Cleveland it's crap!". Enough of my rant though.
