So I’m in need of a tune up, have some upgrades that are pending but I’ve always wanted to upgrade my distributor but is it all worth it. Been looking at this kit on lmr, is this worth the money or should one just stick with an msd, or even a new stock distributor with new plugs and wires, and a decent coil. My car has been sitting for awhile like 14 years garaged but she starts right up. Has an Accel coil, older msd

I made 740rwhp on a stock dist , and coil .

Turned it down to 640 . My msd box crapped out and I ran the car on just the stock dist and coil with no spark blowout at 17psi of boost

My case in point . The stock ignition works .

If you want wires and stuff like that I would do that . FRPP, Taylor wires etc

Good advice there.
Don't waste your money on that ignition set-up, almost guaranteed to have tfi problems.
If you have a factory tfi that's not giving you problems leave it, get a good set of wires,
make sure plugs are correct, if need be you can rebuild factory dizzy internals.
