I went to the Fast Ford weekend in Baytown, TX this weekend and I picked up a Granatelli plenum. I was asked what car I had and I told them i had a 97 but it's going on a 03 intake manifold. He wasn't sure what the difference was and neither was I. Well it turns out that the only noticeable difference is the pcv tube on the new plennum. It's alot bigger. My 97's is small. A rubber hose goes from that to the plastic tube that goes to the pcv valve on the the passenger side cylinder.

My question is could I just buy a 03 rubber tube and the plastic tube to make it work?

i've seen people take a smaller tube, stick it in the bigger tube and clamp it down and then put it on the end of the plenum with no problems.

you just need to make it work. I bought my accufab plenum off ebay. it came with the larger pvc fitting and not the small one. my 01 has the small pvc. I just used a spark plug boot to apapt between the size.

it was kind of a ghetto fix but 25k later and no issue. I was originally going to just call accufab and have them send me the small pvc adapter but I have not had any issue so I just left the spark plug boot in place.

what you are talking about may work as well but it would be more money.

ok thanks for the idea's. my buddy says they make different size inside diameter hoses. one end both ends of the tube are different sizes. that might be able to do this job. i'll be checking out the parts stores and will give a update on how it goes.

i bought a 5/8" tube that fits nicely over the metal pcv tube on the plennum. now i i have to find a way to attach them because it looks like the 5/8" is to large of a diameter to fit snuggely in. maybe some clamps will hold them together without clogging the tubing up.

I was going to do what you are trying to do initially I just could not find a the right side plastic nipple to addapt between the to hoses so that is what lead me to the plug wire boot.

it is a vaccum driven conection so if you find something close just clamp it up and you should be fine.
