I'm a newb and I need new rotors.

I'm going to save you some $$

88rotors on ebay. all 4 D/S rotors for about $100 shipped. exactly the same as these. I've had them for a couple months now and they're great so far.

as for pads, I'd get whatever lifetime pads you can find locally. good pads on ebay dont seem too cheap.

if you really want to upgrade you can go to 13" but you need new calipers and I just don't see the point unless your going to see alot of track time with the car, or just have $1000 laying around to blow on brakes.

rotor warping is mostly the pads fault. It's due to uneven deposts of friction lining on the surface of the rotor due to heat. You can cut the rotors and put new pads on.

You get what you pay for with rotors. I have head decent things about rotorpros rotors though

Another option to look at is Summit Racing rotors. I am using them on my GT, they are cross drilled and slotted and I have zero complaints. They were right around $60/rotor when I bought them.

Drilling holes in your rotors won't make you stop any better. In fact it's slightly worse for performance

If you want to stop better than OEM, you need either larger piston calipers or larger diamter rotors.

Damnit, I suppose i'll pretend i'm stopping faster than. Either way my wheel wont shake when I press the brake pedal so I will be happy.
