Many, many years ago I was a member of this site. And its to bad that I can't remember my password or the email I had attached to it. If only there was a way to get it back.

Any way its good to be back. My first mustang was nothing special a 83' GLX coupe in all its 3.8l glory. I loved that car and still wish I had never gotten rid of it. Years gone by and I was bit by the Focus bug. Bought an 05 ST and autox'd it for a few years. Till a had to part with it to obtain a truck for a buisness that I started. A couple more years have gone by and I miss autox dearly. So its time to get back into it.

In the mean time I had aquired a BII and played with that. It just never satisfied me. So in looking for a decent autox car. I came across a deal to trade for a 91' LX 5.0l 5spd. And loaded that bronco on the trailer as fast as I could and ran down and picked up the stang. For the most part its in good shape minus one tiny part. The previous owner wanted to turn it into a rat stang and used a type of bedliner to give it a dark grey look. Well as you can imagine it looks horible. Any tips on getting rid of it? Other wise I'm going to start collecting body parts to replace everything with.

Either way it's good to have a mustang once again. And can't wait to get it on the autox course!

Welcome back! :)

If you really wanted, I could see if the old account is laying around; you'd be more than welcome to have it back, if so. I could just merge this new one you are using into it, if it all worked out. Just let me know!

Well the 91' is heading down the road. As it was just to far gone for me to handle. I did however pic up an 88' 5.0L LX coupe wich is more up my aley.

I however did manage to pull the dash and interiour bits out of the 91' ALL BLACK. To stick into the 88', I don't think I'll have any problems sticking it into the 88'. Overall the car was beutifull ten years ago. But has been neglected since and is in need of some work. The guy drag raced it in the end and now the motor and trans are in rough shape. That will be my last project.

First will be to strip it down this winter to get it ready for cage and paint. Eventualy I would like to get it ready for the ocasional autox/trackday/daily driver. It will take time as funds will allow. But should be a fun project and plan on doing it right.

What I'm starting with:

And could any one identify this hood? Would it be worth saving or replace it? Seems very lightweight and thats the only positive I see in it. Fit and strength are features not present.
