I'm willing to sale my stang for 8500$$..Am I crazy ?

I don't see the mods since I ignored all sigs but 8.5K$ for a clean 95 GT modded to death is fricking cheap!!!

I bought my 95 GTS 10 000$ 4 years ago and it was the cheapest one I could find with low mileage! You'll sell it for sure at that price, try higher in the mars-april fever.

Dude, remember It's back to stock. Now these are the mods. Far from being modded to death :D

3:90 gears, X2C Motorsports lower and upper control arms, HPM driveshaft loop, KennyBrown subs, Flowmaster catback, Mac o/r H-Pipe, UPR adjustable clutch quadrant and Extreme firewall adjuster, Mac underdrive pulleys, King Cobra clutch.

Give me some details about your car. Mileage? etc.... I may be interested. Thanks.

This wasnt a for sale thread and I dont want it to get lock so if you're interested pm me please. Although I can tell you this. Car has never seen winter. Absolutely no rust anywhere on the car, including the floorpans. The body has roughly 120 000kms (lots of highway) and the engine inside the car is from a 91 Lincoln Mark VII..or VIII dont remember which doesnt exist. Engine runs pretty nice and has about 150 000kms on it. The odds are the engine was babied since pretty much only men buy those Lincolns. Anyhow, the car has nothing to be changed, has power everything except power seats, no A/C (removed), tilt, no leather since it's really a GTS. 1 of 96. Was involved in some small incident 2-3 summers ago but nothing major. I got pics to show you what happened if you're interested. PM me if you want to know other stuff.

Thanks
Mario.

Ehhhhh, it depends who you ask. To me...a GTS that came with no leather, no tilt, has no Air, has been in involved in a fender bender and no longer has it's original engine....not to mention has been modified, then brought back to stock doesn't seem all that appealing to me, so I probably wouldn't pay any more that $5,500 for it……and you’d be lucky to get even that out of a car lot. I’m sure it’s worth more than that to you, which it should be, but I would prefer my cars original, unmolested and fully optioned. GTS’s are great if you’re building a “Race” only car, but as a daily driver….those little creature comforts add a lot of value. But hey, that's just me.

Leather...Well some like it some dont. I personnaly dont like getting all that sticky sensation in the summer, and cold in the winter. I do have tilt steering btw. For a reminder, it was the passenger door that got hit. It's a brand new door on there. Nothing else was involved that is still on the car. I'm talking about the bodykit, and chrome wheels. About the engine, well nobody's gotta know about it right ? I raced the car but mollested seemed a little bit out of place. The car has been babied and raced in straight line. No donuts, and flooring when turning in a street or stuff like that. But I do respect and understand your point of view.

Not all GTS have the same "package", every original owner ordered his wanted package. My GTS has a\c and cruise control and was wingless when ordered. Some have electric windows but no a\c, etc..

Im sorry Mario, but im with Gearbanger on that on. Also dont forget that you can be in trouble in quebec for not mentionning the car has been accidented :/ yup i know sucks... if you can get 8.5k for your car i'd say take it.

Im sorry to say this mario, but im with gearbanger on that one. and dont forget, the laws here in quebec with selling used car, if you dont mention the accident and the person finds out you could be in some trouble. anyway i wish you good luck. if you can find someone willing to buy at 8.5k well id say take it

As far as the accident goes, I don't think a fender bender needs to be identified according to the law? It's not like it was VGA or whatever. That car is very clean, inside and out, and I'd be proud to buy it. There's a 4.6L red GT for sale at the garage I work at. It has faded paint, 180,000kms, AUTOMATIC and did I mention it's a 4.6? Anyway he's asking 9k for it!!! Oh and it has nothing, no options, manual windows, no power doors, all it has is A/C.

If I was in the market, I'd buy StangFreak's car in a heartbeat!

You'll notice though, that it's still sitting at the garage you work at and not sold. Once the owner comes to his/her senses and asks a reasonable price for it, they'll be able to get rid of it.

He just got it, I changed the brakes on it the other night. I'm 100% sure it will sell this spring.

You should see how much fox bodies are going for around here... I can't find a decent one under 12k lol Which is why I'm fixing up the Cougar instead

One thing for sure is that the market in Toronto and the market around here/Montreal, is way different. I've seen stangs go for sale on GTAMC for instance for peanuts, compare to what they would of went around here. Fox bodys are a good example.

But maybe the car isnt worth what I want for it. I'm my eyes it's worth every penny. I'm pretty sure if you would see it in person, it could make you change your mind. I know Boss351 saw it and I think he liked it. I'll see...

I know about the rules concerning the accidents. You NEED to tell the buyer before he buys it obviously otherwise that could result in a lawsuit. This guy is my buddy and he knows all about my stang and this incident. And if it's another buyer, well I still got the repair sheet (estimate) that the insurance company gave me so it's not like I'm hiding that the car was totaled or cracked/bent frame or whatever else. Its a freakin door...nothing else.

About the engine, I'm pretty sure there's no law that says that you need to tell the buyer that it's not the original engine that is coming with the car. I could be wrong. Please advise me if you know this for sure.

heh doesn't that engine have the Forged pistons as opposed to the hyperiatesticle pistons :D

Yeah I saw the car in person, and like I said, if I was in the market for an SN95, I'd be on a bus right now with a certified check in hand so I can drive it back home!

This is true...Market is key. But don't kid yourself, people are asking crazy prices for Mustangs in the GTA as well. When I sold my '87 LX a couple of years ago, it was actually a girl from Oakville that bought it. She couldn't believe that I wanted so little for it....and although the car was mint, and had a few bolt ons, I figured the $6,000 I was asking was too much considering the black book on it was only around $1250. She told me that all she was able to find down South were ragged out GT's and LX's with body rot and 300,000km and people were still asking $8,000-$10,000 for them. She didn't even try to barter with me, just handed me the cash and was on her way.

Almost makes me wish I'd asked more for it. :bang:

I sold mine for 2k, I figure it wasn't worth anything. Ex 4 banger, knocking engine, missing interior, missing sway bar, shocks all dead, brakes shot, 7.5 rear end, no more rubbers around the doors, no heater, no speakers, no carpet, very bad paint job, rusted rear 1/4 panels, finished rear tires, etc... I wrote a list on what needed to be done and it came to about 4800$ in repairs to make it a decent 5.0L! I even refused some buyers because I knew they wouldn't be able to fix it up, I sold it to some guy who works for Ford and has many spare 5.0L parts. It took about a week to sell it, without a for sale sign. Again I was suprised he didn't bargain with me either, I mean that car was seriously in bad shape when I sold it. It just looked nice on the outside, I gave him the "to do" list because I don't want to rip anyone off.

You can't keep the car with your new job and whatnot? Or are you still dreaming about a fox body?

Yeah I could keep it man. But now stock is not so fun to drive when you drove it before all modded. And I would not mod it again. And certain debts need to get paid off and the sale of the stang will take care of a good part of that. For sure I'm still dreaming about my future fox body but I'd rather get my 03-04 Cobra first and mod that instead. :D

I wish I'd still have my chrome 03 Cobra wheels on it. It used to look like that with the bodykit and the wheels:

And this is a guy with the same wheels but no bodykit. Looks so much better  :
