Okay, after getting prison raped by the dyno shop I can now officially go WOT. Tim said the guy was stroking me and messin with the numbers, so I don't want to post max hp &TQ but I have no more detonation, and daaayummmm she pulls like a Thai hooker at last call!
I was expecting 375 or a little better. The guy at the dyno shop is also an sct tuner...and he was throwing out some goofy #'s...When I faxed tim the 2nd set of dyno #'s tim was shaking his head. Turns out the first tune I got was fine except for one little .5 delay on fuel at WOT...which was causing the detonation.
I'm going to cruise with this for now, and add LT's during the winter sometime
yeah and TG for that...you try driving around for a week sounding like a jet engine....pulling up next to a trans-am at a stoplight, and getting smoked bcuz you can't floor it !!
i only put down 353 on my first pull. we leaned it out a little and advanced the timing and i got 375hp and 385tq. i'll have new numbers up on friday with the IC on!
thanks everyone! Thanks Saleen, thats what i'm hoping for...i'm running an ultra conservative tune right now...but will tweak it some more, after I donate more blood to get some money!
