Importance/ benefits of subframe connectors?

well, they are in the mail, be here in a few days. I got the bare ones, can anyone suggest something I can coat them with to keep them from rusting??

Yea get them powdercoated...or just hit them with the rattle can..............jj

spray paint huh? Which would be better? Its kind of too late to order the powdercoated ones but I guess I could find a shop in my area that could do it (i didnt want black, red would be nice) anyone have suggestions on what they used? Also, I dont have access to a lift, so what would you guys suggest to get the weight on the wheels with room to work? I was thinking jack one end up and slide ramps under the tires, repeat on the other end. Will that work?

Well the idea would be to have the car up off the ground perfectly level and the suspention "loaded". Kinda hard without a lift but it can be done. I suggest the FLATTESt surface you can find and the ramp idea you had......jj
