Improving MT-82 shifting quality

Greetings !

New to the forum and Mustang ownership. Purchase a 2017 V-6 6-speed fastback February with less than 20K on it.
I've learned a lot and am making targeted cost-effective mods based on reviews and forum post.
After adding Steeda jacking rails I've replaced the clutch assist spring with the 35lbs. Steeda item and just yesterday installed a Barton two post shifter bracket. HUGE improvement in shifter feel and action. Very little added NVH. Best $ 120 I have spent in a long time !

Greetings,
The side to side play is really eliminated.
fore and aft movement is mostly controlled by the bushing on top of the transmission.
But this part tightens that up too.
Really well engineered and constructed part from Barton.
The factory mount is unbelievably flimsy, cheaply constructed and sloppy.
If you have slender wrists installation is about a twenty minute job.
You have to reach around the exhaust and driveshaft to get the old bracket off or mount the new one.
I found a piece of scrap foam to wedge between the top of the driveshaft and the bottom of the shifter box.
That pushed the shifter up where it normally is and made it easier to get the new bracket in place.
