i'm doing some fixing on an '88 2.3LX that i bought for $400(no cancer, needs front seal on tranny, new drum cylinders, tune and some more cleaning on interior) and i to come around and sell it for $2000obo... then i have a 2.3t currently in an '88 tbird, 5spd with the disc braked possi 8.8"(passenger axle is bent)... there's a guy that takes college course's with my sis' boyfriend who wants it and i'm seeing if i can get $300... $250 at least. i either do that and get a good 5.0LX or i stick with the 2.3t. it's just i've been reading and to reach my goal of 300hp on the 2.3 will take more than i thoght. there's no "general mustang" section so i'm posting this in the one that gets more traffic. so if i can get some unbiased opinions... or anyone's opinion for that matter, thanks.

My good friend is going 11.20's on his 2.3 stock bottom end setup with a 61mm and head work. Thats faster than his 306 hci/150shot setup ever went. Also pulls the wheels a good 6 inches off the ground, makes for a real nice sleeper too, we streetrace the thing a lot.
