#1... You were wide open. I love people that post videos and claim "I was only juicin' it a little bit, its got more in it.." WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU POST A VID OF YOUR CAR BEING SLOW? WOULDN'T YOU WAIT UNTIL YOU COULD GET VIDEO OF A WOT PULL?

#2... Mobs car is really slow, just race him from a roll...

Not trying to start any new wars here, but the statement put up that no bolt on cam geared car would lose traction after second, is far from true. My gt has a bone stock 302 with 130,000 miles with no tune that I bought about 6 months ago and getting ready to do an engine build but for now all stock on driveline except 373 gear swap and I get third easily if I try. No i cant get 3rd on 3/4 throttle, but at WOT I get 3rd easily.

Yoour saying 3rd gear cruising at 2krpm you can slam the throttle down and youll lose traction? BS get a video to prove it. Ill be cruising at 3k rpm in 2nd gear floor it and my car still wont lose traction, thats on street tires and all stock suspension.

Actually heres a video of my car, 40mph roll in 2nd gear, no traction loss, just lots of being pushed back in your seat

I am saying starting in first, not reving and dumping but hitting first, then second, then third. Of course I cant do a 40mph punch in third or nothing. but the guy posting this just went through the gears starting in first, that is what I am talking about.

You said wouldnt lose traction after second and yes they will, thats all I am saying.

This is what im saying. I was doing so many things at the same time that I could not go all out on it. Believe me its got some big balls on it and the video does not do it justice at all. The car is fast and fun and I wiil do a new vid this weekend to show the true car for what it is.

mob, last night coming home on a back road I was following a slow person, when they turned into their neighborhood, I dropped it to second at 35 and went WOT and lost traction, but i have a vert so I might have a lighter rear end.

My car spins through first and second sqwaks nicely in third and get a fourth gear chirp. Thats N/A on 275 BFG's. At the track it spinds through first and second chirps third and forth. Mind you i have the juice at the track. But that is also when i have my slicks on. My car isn't as scarey as my bro inlaws dart though. That 440 spins 1 through 4th as long as he wants. That car is an animal.

Perhaps if you have torn torque boxes, some bald donut spare tires on the rear, and there is ice on the street .. have you checked for these

Dude I have torque box reinforcements from rick, also welded all seems, no ice or water, MM control arms with solid bushings, and I have no trouble at all getting third gear. Dont know what your stang ran like with stock engine but I know mine has some balls!!!
